A cartographer as a hobbyist, vintage and old maps are always a keen source of interest to find innumerable historical mysteries. One can find old places that has curious histories, misspelled names that induces interest in knowing more about them, odd boundaries of countries and territories that tells us how technology progressed through ages and an infinite amount of information that is the crux of world advancement. Maps are not just for navigation but offers in-depth knowledge about the world we had lived, are living and also will be living in the coming years.
This blog is a collection of all hand-made maps sourced from various references on the internet. Sketched artistically and explained in a much lucid manner, this blog shall explore the unexplored and take you all to a journey unconventional and less-talked. The maps shall also see various experiments of sketching - poster colors, charcoal, digital paint, etc. But more than anything, it would be a plethora of information.
